Every frog
That lives in trees
Has one wish
To stowaway
Aboard a ship
And sail the 7 seas
They sit
Way up high
On a tall pine branch
And gaze upon
A big blue sky
Waiting patiently
For the chance
To clear their throat
With a mighty croak
And bellow ship ahoy!
A sound shrill
To mostly everyone
But music to the ears
Of adventurous little boys
Now wishes fade away
As does the setting sun
But friendship
Can last forever
Although they’ve just begun
As is the bond
Of frogs and little boys
Who grow up
To lock their doors
Late at the window
Can hear the bellow
Of ahoy mate!
Across the pond
In the dark of night
'Til mornings light
Calling ship to shore
